Bartlett's 175th Anniversary Presents-
Who's Your Farmer? Get to know our staff!

Erin Hepinstall

Chatting with a former Communications Major at University of New Hampshire, it seemed fitting to start her story with a game of word association.

Economy: yikes.

Fruit: peaches.

Choice: necessary.

Flavor: important.

Books: Many.

Author: Harper Lee.

Planes: trains and automobiles.

Millennial: underestimated.

News: overwhelming.

YouTube: important platform.

Erin Hepinstall has been at Bartlett's Farm since the summer of 2016, but that was not her first trip to Nantucket. Her family had been vacationing on the island the 18 summers prior, sharing a house with aunts, uncles, and cousins alike who would visit the island at various times throughout the season. Off the clock, Erin enjoys reading the likes of Harper Lee or walking along one of the island beaches, which is a common place to find most who are mesmerized by Nantucket. At the farm, she can be found working behind the deli counter, ready to greet and meet your all your deli needs. What she looks forward to most at work is the environment. She believes she has found a place among a solid group of people who keep her smiling all day long.

There are times when I thoroughly enjoy the prep and process of a meal.

Then…there are times when I really want to get something on the table quickly, but don’t want to give up on the taste or quality of our dinner.
