CATHOLIC WORKER with Julia Occhiogrosso

On the one hand there is "Catholic Charities" and on the other, the "Catholic Worker".  The two are not the same as explained to Susan Stafford in this impressive interview with Julia Occhiogrosso.

Dorothy Day founded the Catholic Worker movement.  The volunteers that make up this organization model their lives and outreach on those of the early Christians.

Where ever it is found, those in need are treated with dignity and non judgmental respect where Christ is found in the stranger in need. The members of the movement live in small communities and not only serve others but where possible, invite the stranger to live among them as well.
