Dear --FNAME--,

That time of year's come 'round again,
We wish you and your family a wonderful holiday, and a coming new year
Without an entire hillside forest in Bloomingdale quarried into pebbles,
Or a hilltop forest in Oakland bulldozed for Pinnacle/Bi-County’s project.
Rather, we wish you a new year filled with prosperity, good will and hope,
And thoughts of the Highlands’ natural beauty unspoiled, its forests secure,
Overflowing with crystal clear and plentiful water.
You are special to us in so many ways:
You acted on our alerts; you attended our rallies;
In Trenton you helped us see good legislation passed and bad legislation opposed;
You helped fund the rare plant survey that strengthens our conviction that only ecologically sound stewardship is practiced on Sparta Mountain and elsewhere.
Because you care, we won a big one in Tewksbury against Bellemead.
Also, together we enjoyed good food, great craft beer and we scavenger hunted too.
We car-rallied past landscapes we didn’t know NJ still had, and ‘ere the year is over.
So together we can protect the Highlands and all it provides.
