What's Happening on the Farm?
Lots of lettuce! Did you know that the average head of lettuce travels over 1,800 miles to the grocery store? Ours travels about 1000 feet! Who's YOUR Farmer?
Tons of tomatoes! It's a prolific crop of greenhouse tomatoes this year! We are picking out of three houses every day!

Zillions of zucchini and summer squashes! A cup of squash has only about 20 calories and good fiber! Try it steamed with one of Coastal Goods sea salt mixtures! It's also the base of a delicious and easy-to-make quick bread.

Try them grilled, too! Cut the squashes in half, brush with a little olive oil and place on the grill, turning when they start to get a little soft. Toss with some fresh herbs for a perfect accompaniment to grilled fish or burgers!

Not just any flowers...
Whether it's the colors or the fragrance that you like, Pete's lilies are spectacular to have in the house. They are carefully grown in the greenhouse where the deer and the wind can't get at them. Harvested daily, they are fresh and will last for days and days in your home. The Asiatic Lilies don't have a scent, but the aroma from the Oriental Lilies will carry you away!

Neil Hudson and Jenn Farmer are the creators of the wonderful entrees and side dishes you can find at the kitchen counter. From braised lamb to fried-green tomatoes, their food is original and fresh every day. They give you two choices of soup and plenty of options for lunch or dinner.
