A Christmas Carol livestream FAQ
How do I get access to the show? Make a donation to Valley Center Stage via Eventbrite
Wait, wasn't the old link through Brown Paper Tickets? Yes, we originally used BPT but decided to change vendors. If you made a donation via BPT, everything is fine, but we ask that future donations go through Eventbrite.
What happens after I make a donation? How do I get access? VCS will email a YouTube link to you on the evening of 12/4 for the Livestream. Tickets must be purchased at least an hour before the show if you would like to watch the show live.
Can I watch a recording of A Christmas Carol after the livestream? Yes! We will leave the recorded version of the show up on YouTube through January 2021 and you may watch the recording using the same link you are sent for the livestream
I am busy on the 5th. Can I still watch the show? Yes! There is only one live performance but you can make a donation and watch the recording which will be available to watch through January 2020.
Can I still buy a ticket to the show after the livestream? Yes. Tickets can be purchased through January 6 - the 12th day of Christmas. A link for the show will be emailed to you, manually. After December 5th, please allow 24 hours for the link, or 48 if it overlaps with Christmas. The recording can be watched through January 2021.
Who do I contact if I am having ticketing trouble and need help? If you need help, you can email support@valleycenterstage.org or leave a message at (425) 200-8936. If you have a question that should be included in the FAQ, feel free to reply to this newsletter directly.

Outside of VCS: Free Streaming Theatre and More!
Many theatres and other have made content available online during this time. Here are some links to help you find some of the amazing resources that have been made available, for free, during these difficult times.
What's on Stage is a UK site that compiles a list of free online theatre. It's a long list with some amazing resources, from Shakespeare to modern plays and musicals.
New York's Public Television Channel WNET created the website ALL ARTS which has some amazing resources hidden away, including a performance of Macbeth starring Patrick Stewart.
Timeout New York maintains a list of free and paid livestream events. There are a wide variety of free events, including Family Friendly Christmas Shows, Experimental Theatre, Cabaret, and Opera at the Met. Paid shows are typically by donation for individual shows but there is also a link to a streaming service that lets you watch 300 Broadway musicals for a monthly fee - like Netflix for musical theater!
You can support Valley Center Stage using Amazon Smile Prime. To participate, go to smile.amazon.com, select Valley Center Stage, and we will receive 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases.
