Dear Clergy and Laity,

 

As we continue our ministries in these unprecedented times, The Holston Conference Strategy Team (CST) has been working diligently to find ways to reinvigorate the connection across our conference, in our communities and in our local churches. We need your help and input.

 

If nothing else, 2020 taught us the importance of having online ministries. Some of our churches have even experienced phenomenal growth through their online presence, and some have experienced deep loss. In either case, we think it is safe to say we have all missed the feeling of connection we had prior to the pandemic. We have all been concerned about our churches, our communities, and our relationship with Christ.

 

Please join us Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 10:00 am or 7:00 pm to begin discussing how we can reConnect in ministry. 

 

Our focus is to divide into small groups and discuss ideas surrounding ways we can reConnect to:

• Christ
• Church
• Community

 

The CST will provide a few questions for you to think about and discuss, and then the team will compile your feedback to share across our conference. We will also discuss the need or desire to form additional discussion groups and/or webinar topics that may help us reConnect.
