#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the US) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday, Small Business Saturday an Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. #ClallamGives-consist of over 35 local non-profits working together as the Olympic Peninsula Non-Profit Alliance (OPNA) to get the word out. The alliance seeks to strengthen Clallam County nonprofits by building relationships, sharing resources, and broadly communicating the vital role of nonprofits in our community. By putting our voices together we bring a spotlight to what a wonderful, caring and generous community we have here in Clallam County.
This November 27th, join the movement  and give - whether it's some of your time, a donation, gift or the power of your voice in your local community. OPNA and #ClallamGives makes it easy ti donate to your favorite non-profit(s) all in one spot. A non-profit directory has been setup at Also, by donating through the directory your donation will qualify for any matching donations that are secured.

Great things are in "Store" for Habitat Clallam!
Thanks to a Façade Grant from The City of Port Angeles, our Port Angeles Habitat Store got a fresh coat of paint in the official Habitat for Humanity colors just in time for out 10th Anniversary Celebration.

And, in case you haven't heard yet...we are opening a second Sequim! Join us for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at  213 E. Washington St. on November 29th at 5:30pm.
Habitat Clallam has a “20/20 Vision” for an Apostles’ Build, that is when 12 churches in a community come together and raise funds; then each church provides members/volunteers who join with the other churches and actually physically build a house for a family in Port Angeles. We are calling this our 2020 Vision because we want to build the house in the year 2020. We are hoping your Port Angeles Church will want to join us in the Vision. Pray about, talk about it; 2019 will be the year we prepare and fund raise and 2020 is when the Apostles’ Build will happen. Think what a great way to put our faith in action and witness to Port Angeles, churches working together to help a deserving family in our community. To have a representative from our Faith Relations Committee come share this opportunity with your Church or for more information contact us at

Port Angeles Store Volunteer:  Nancy Rock
Nancy always insist on staying busy! No job is too hard for her.  She cleans appliances, test lights and ceiling fans, mixes paint, and helps all throughout the Store. If there is something to be done, Nancy is there to save the day. She is enthusiastic, determined,a self-starter, and a huge help. We are glad to have her as part of the Habitat team.
