Advisor Appreciation Month

In 2008 NPC resolved to celebrate Advisor Appreciation Month in April. During this time, we encourage sorority women to thank all the people who support sorority life and sorority members.

This is a time to reflect on the advisors who inspire us in our sorority lives. Did your chapter advisor show you the meaning of lifelong membership? Thank her. Did your fraternity/sorority advisor show you the big Panhellenic picture? Thank him or her. Has your NPC area advisor provided guidance to help your Panhellenic make progress? Let her know! Whoever has made an impact on your sorority life, take time this April to say thanks.

You can find resources for Advisor Appreciation Month on the NPC website.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

The National Panhellenic Conference encourages efforts to promote sexual assault awareness and prevention on college campuses. We hope College Panhellenic Associations and sorority women will lead and participate in initiatives to end sexual assault on campus.

The first step in ending sexual assault is awareness and education. With the Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Toolkit, NPC has sifted through the wealth of online information and compiled some of the best and most popular resources from knowledgeable advocacy organizations.

We hope you will use this material for their educational purposes and share this resource with sorority members and other women on campus.

College Panhellenic Annual Report

The College Panhellenic annual reporting features will be available later this month and reports will be due one month after release for awards consideration. Reports will be available in your College Panhellenic account in FS Central under “reporting” and may be completed by subject area and saved intermittently prior to completion. The NPC office will send a message when reports are ready.

Be sure that your College Panhellenic completes the academic achievement report as soon as grades are completed for your fraternity/sorority community. If you have not reported your fall 2018 grades, please complete this form ASAP.

Will your campus be applying for an NPC award for College Panhellenics? Review the 2019 outline to determine if you meet the core competencies and review the criteria. Award applications are due June 1 and will be made available in FS Central.

Want to express your gratitude for those who support your Panhellenic community? Order this NPC journal to let your advisors be reminded of your thanks.
