|It's official...I've lost count of how many time Nick Mancieri has been here to enlighten us on the care and culture of orchids. Each year, there are more attendees, more excitement and more orchids!|
Nick is bringing a vanload of cool orchids and will be in the garden center by 9am on Saturday. His talk will officially begin in the Hayloft at 10, and he will be around until about 4:30.

|Happy Mother's Day|
| |While we can't predict exactly what your mother wants for Mother's Day, it is safe to say she will appreciate whatever effort you put into it. Hmmm. Flowers? Plants? Dinner she doesn't have to cook? A hug? A card? Time alone? Time together? Well, if it's flowers she's looking for, we can certainly help! Jacqui Wiggins will be running an informal 'make a vase of flowers for mom' kid's workshop on Saturday May 8th. For under $10.00 you can put together a centerpiece vase (and a card) for Mom to put on the table for Mother's Day dinner.
If plants are what you are looking for, the garden center is chock full of perennials, organically grown herbs and vegetable plants, gorgeous hanging baskets and hardy annuals!
Mj and her crew are preparing several special entrees for the kitchen counter and the bakers are creating beautifully decorated special sugar cookies for mom. Jacqui has a beautiful, unique collection of gifts, too! But if you simply can't decide, a Bartlett's Farm gift card will certainly be appreciated any time of the year.
Happy Mother's Day!

Our tete-a-tetes bloomed about two days too late for daffodil day! Lucky for you, they can be planted in the ground this year and they will bloom in time for daffodil day next year!
