October 19, 2018

We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to Logan McBrearty, a fifth grader in UMASD, and his friends for their incredible generosity in collecting $100 and a basketball for the Upper Merion Foundation. Logan recently celebrated his birthday, and in lieu of gifts, asked his friends to contribute a small donation for the UM Foundation. The money will be used to support a child looking to play basketball this season. We think this is an incredible act of generosity and thank Logan and his friends for their thoughtfulness!

Congratulations to the recipients of this year's Fire and Rescue Service Awards!

Pictured here are just a few of the many recipients of these awards in honor of their dedicated service to the Upper Merion Community. Also awarded was the Gutkowski Township Firefighter of the Year Award, presented to Charles Scott of Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company, and The Mary Bacchi Emergency Medical Services Responder of the Year Award, presented to Brian Geiger of Lafayette Ambulance.
