Splendid Sunny Solar Stats
In just over one month, our solar panels have produced
100,000 kwh of electricity.
This is the equivalent of
14.8 Passenger vehicles driven for one year
or
22.3 Tons of waste recycled instead of landfilled.

The CO2 emissions offset are equivalent to
7,908 gallons of gasoline consumed
or
74,993 Pounds of coal burned
or
163 barrels of oil consumed

The Carbon sequestered is impressive!
This is the equivalent of
1,821 tree seedlings grown for 10 years
or
66.5 acres of U.S. forests in one year

Stop! Savor the Summer!
Time get to get outside and share a meal of all summer has to offer;
farm fresh vegetables, steaks, burgers and seafood on the grill,
and vibrant, savory wines to share with friends and loved ones.
Here are three red wines that we love - perfect for a backyard get-together or just grilling and chilling with your family.

Lenore Syrah,

Columbia Valley, WA

Sustainably Farmed

From the genius hands of Owen Roe comes “Corvidae”. A selection of wines whose juice is suspiciously great for the price! His “Lenore” Syrah is full of aromas of intense spice, bright purple and black fruit, with a beautifully textured palate of berries and cracked white pepper. Pair this crowd pleasing wine with barbecued baby back ribs, lamb kabobs or your favorite burger. $14.99

Cascina Ballarin CINO Rosso

Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto

La Morra, Italy

Sustainably Farmed

This winery offers “Glamping” among its grape vines and also makes wonderously delicious white wines. This red is bursting with fresh aromas of fruit and flowers. Rich, savory and velvety palate. An excellent candidate for a BBQ on a hot day, try slightly chilled. Pairs well with charcuterie and antipasti, pasta dishes, grilled pizzas or a spicy steak tartare. $13.99

Casa de Saima Colheita

Baga, Touriga Nacional, Merlot

Sustainably Farmed

I first had this wine at a pizza joint in Cambridge five years ago and have finally found it again! Excited to share this delicious red with our customers at Bartlett’s. Attractively spicy, with black fruits on the nose and good vivid blackberry fruit laced with licorice spice in a succulently textured framework of ripe fruit and juicy, savory freshness. Perfect paired with BBQ, Grilled Chicken, Spicy Pulled Pork, Smoky Grilled Eggplant or Lamb Burgers. $12.99

The best corn of the season, always comes in August.
Don't wait if you want to eat it fresh, or even freeze it to use over the winter (I don't even want to say that word...)
How to freeze corn?
Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
Drop in 3-4 cobs (husks removed) and boil for about 1 minute.
Remove from the boiling water and plunge into ice water
Cut the kernels off the cob and scoop them into a freezer bag.

Remember we have corn gadgets like holders and strippers,
plus, they are 25 % off!

Corn Tomato Ack tees are 25% off both in store and online!
