2018 NCAA Division II Football Championship Game
Saturday | 3 p.m. | McKinney ISD Football Stadium | Tickets $20-25

McKinney welcomes the Ferris State Bulldogs and Valdosta State Blazers for the 2018 NCAA Div. II Football Championship at the new McKinney ISD Stadium, 4201 S. Hardin. Tickets are available online and at the box office on game day.

NCAA D2 McKinney Fan Fest
Friday | 6-8 p.m. | TUPPS Brewery, 721 Anderson 
Join fans from the two teams competing in the NCAA Div. II Championship game at the Fan Fest at TUPPS Brewery. Enjoy a battle of the bands, food, drinks and live music! Admission is free; food and drinks available for purchase.

Fifteen McKinney restaurants are offering specials all day in celebration of the NCAA Div II football championship game. Find participating eateries online. and then vote for your favorites.

Tis' the season for festive concerts at MPAC.
TheJazzMark Trio, along with special guest vocalist Shelly
Torrez-West, perform many of your favorite songs in different jazz styles, along with the ever-popular music from A Charlie Brown Christmas.

MRT Presents: A Christmas Carol
Friday-Saturday | Courtroom Theater | $8-13
The one-hour performance (story by Charles Dickens, adapted by Dr. Andrew Harris) is an annual family tradition by the McKinney Repertory Theatre. The miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is taught the true meaning and spirit of Christmas by ghosts who show him his own past and present. He is also shown what his future holds if he doesn't change his behavior. Friday, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.


Holiday Farmers Market
Saturday | 8 a.m.-Noon | Hunt Street (at Kentucky/Tennessee)

Find special items by local craftspeople and farmers at the special annual holiday market. This year's market takes place at the temporary location of McKinney Farmers Market.



Holidays at the Heard

Friday-Saturday | 6:30-9 p.m. | $5-9
Bundle up and experience Holidays at the Heard, the most unique holiday event in North Texas. Guests will see lights and holiday décor along a half mile of the Heard's nature trail. Take a photo with Father Christmas and Mother Nature, and enjoy hot beverages and treats (available for purchase). Local musicians will delight audiences in the Heard outdoor amphitheater.

Dinosaurs Live
Thru Feb. 18 | Included with general admission
Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and nine new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the nature trails. The exhibit gives families a fun, educational activity to enjoy together, and makes for great photos. See the dinosaurs move and hear them roar! Play area dinosaurs will be available as well as an outdoor fossil dig. Trailer is jogger stroller friendly. (Photo by @alig_jd)

Discovering Dyslexia through Art
Friday-Sunday | The Cove, 402 N Tennessee | Food donation to enter
This exhibit will showcase the work of dyslexic artists, with the hope to show the creative side of dyslexia. The show's mission is to provide a positive platform for the dyslexic community. This event will also be giving back to the community. Canned and dry food donations will be the cost of admission to view the art. All food collected will be donated to The Red Door Pantry. Show is Friday, 6-9 p.m. with artist reception at 7 p.m.; Saturday, 6-9 p.m.; and Sunday, 1-4 p.m.


Painting Class by Wine & Design
Sunday | 2 p.m. | TUPPS Brewery, 721 Anderson | $35
Come out and paint their Full Grown Nick can design. No walk-ins; payment should be made online prior to class. No painting experience necessary. Class will take roughly two hours. Ages 16 and up; attendees under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bring your own wine or beer.
