with Fr. Soney Sebastian, SVD

In this episode, Fr. Soney Sebastian, SVD, asks “Am I an agent of unity and peace or do I bring division?”

Fr. Soney discusses the scene in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve are tempted by the serpent. Each one blames the other and becomes afraid of God and so hides from Him. This disturbs the balance that God desires for humankind and God’s desire that we are responsible for and care for each other. Prayer helps us to do this. But we do need the support of family, friends, and the Church community.  We are indeed “in this together”.

Fr. Soney then talks about the scene in Mark’s gospel (MK 3:20 – 35) when the people think that Jesus is “out of his mind” and curing with the power of the devil. He is misunderstood. The Kingdom can’t be divided against itself. As a follower, we must stand together. He then calls his followers “my brothers and sisters”, part of one family, called to be agents of unity, love and peace. And we are all “in this together”.

… we’ve got a small favor to ask. Wordnet's independent sharing of God's Word takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce despite the fact that all presenters do it gratis. But we do it because we believe communicating the Word of God matters – because it might well be your belief  too.
If everyone who watches these daily meditations will help to support it for as little as one $ a day these messages will continue to a world hungry for the word of God.
