Activate your inner “choco-dar,” your radar for chocolate experiences, on this delectable journey through the Jewish history of chocolate—a real treat! Chocolate & More Breakfast will begin at 9:15 am, featuring recipes from Rabbi Prinz’s book. Coffee, tea, and non-chocolate selections will also be offered. Rabbi Prinz will speak at approximately 9:45 am. A limited number of copies of On The Chocolate Trail will be available, on a first come basis, for purchase and signing at a discounted price.

	Meeting, Breakfast, & Concert by Art Topilow DECEMBER 18 9:30 - Breakfast 10:00 - Dr. Art Topilow and Friends will give a concert 11:00 - Annual Meeting All temple members are invited and encouraged to be at the Annual Congregational Meeting to find out what the Board of Trustees have been doing, ask questions of the Board, review the temple budget and receive updates about the temple. ♪ ♪ There will be a concert by Dr. Art Topilow and his trio performing. You won't want to miss this wonderful musical offering. ♪ ♪ And, of course, there will be breakfast. Everything starts at 9:30 in the Social Hall.


	Welcome Naomi Stanway to Shabbat on December 9 - Back from Rwanda


	BETH MIRIAM has raised some amazing young men and women who are changing the world for the better in ways that are inspiring and challenging us in the way we look at things. Naomi Stanway will be speaking on December 9 at 7:30 during Shabbat service about her work at the Agohozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda for the past year. Her work is amazing and inspiration. This is a tikkun olam presentation you won't want to miss. Everyone is welcome.


	Youth Choir and Purim Spiel Announcements!


	Do you have a child enrolled in the TBM religious school or Teen Academy that likes to sing? If so, our amazing Youth Choir is for them! It is open to TBM students in grades 3-12. The Youth Choir will be singing for Chanukah on Shabbat on Friday, December 30. Rehearsals will be on Sundays immediately after religious school on December 11 and 18. Your child must attend both rehearsals to be eligible to sing for the service on December 30. Please RSVP to me by December 7 (cantor@bethmiriam.org). We are also planning ahead for Purim!! This year’s Purim Spiel will be The Little Mermaideleh! Auditions will be on Sunday, January 8 immediately after religious school. The sign-up sheet will be posted on the music room door beginning December 11. All TBM religious school students in grades 3-12 are welcome to audition for a speaking/singing role. Students in grade 2 can be in the chorus (no audition). Adults that are members in good standing are also welcome to be part of the show. Rehearsals will be on Sundays immediately following religious school beginning January 22. The spiel will be performed on Sunday, March 12. Please email me with any questions. Thank you! 	Hanukkah Together A Program for Young Children Saturday, December 17 10 AM Join us for 'Hanukkah Together' our festival of lights celebration of Hannukah for very young children and their family. We will enjoy food, a PJ Library story, Hanukkah music and dance and a fun 1 1/2 hour Hanukkah event. Everyone is welcome!


	HANNUKAH CELEBRATION & SHABBAT DINNER Friday, December 30 6:15: Dinner 7:30: Shabbat Service Bring your menorah and candles, your dreidels and your appetite as we celebrate Shabbat and Hannukah with fried chicken dinner including latkes and jelly-filled donuts, a dreidle tournament and menorah lighting on the 7th day of Hanukkah. This will be followed by a music-filled Shabbat service with Cantor Camhi singing with a Hanukkah twist! The cost is $10/adult $5/child (12 and under) and a maximum of $35. It is very important to RSVP to the temple at 732-222-3754 so we know how much food to buy. Invite a friend, too and celebrate the Festival of Lights! Please join us for this fun evening in the dark of winter but with the light of Hanukkah and Shabbat with your friends and family. Don't forget to bring your menorah!
