Adopt A Kitten!

If you hang around NorView Farm enough, you may have seen some farm cats around. Cats can be beneficial at a farm for a variety of reasons, but too many can become a problem. We've teamed up with Spay & Save to spay and neuter them, and now we have a few up for adoption! There are 3 male cats available, currently at the Petco on Route 30 in Exton. Contact Spay & Save online or at 610-279-9714, or ask for Dave Dolga, one of the NorView Farm attendants, at 610-265-4229 for more information.

First Avenue Safety Improvements

The full Road Diet design is almost complete! This week, crews are connecting new pedestrian signal lights and push buttons on poles at the new ADA curb ramps at Allendale Road and American Avenue intersections. Installation of the new bike lane pavement markings and signage on First Avenue will continue through next week finishing the new lane configuration which includes a single through lane in each direction, dedicated center turn lane and bike lanes on either side of First Avenue from Moore Road to Allendale Road. All sidewalks and ADA curb ramps are open along First Avenue but the mid-block crossing will remain closed until new signage and signal posts are installed at the island median near Park Avenue. This addition to the roadway will improve pedestrian crossings from Moore Road to Allendale Road. During construction a full-time inspector will be on site to monitor progress and address concerns that arise.  Thank you for your patience during construction and we look forward to the successful completion of this transportation improvement project! Learn more on the KOP-BID's website.
