It's All Saints Sunday,  a day to give thanks for all those who have gone before us in the faith. During both worship services, the names of the saints of the church who have died since November 2017 will be read and the church bell will toll in each person’s honor.
Pastor Clark's talk this Sunday is titled Thy Kin-dom Come: Radical Peace.  Dwelling Places.  Come hear Jesus' radical message of peace!
The 8:45 Worship Service is lead by our Praise Band.  Hear a playlist of Songs for this Sunday here.
The 11:15 Worship Service features traditional hymns and an anthem by the choir, Shall We Gather at the River by John Carter.
The 10 O'clock Education Hour has classes for all ages, and our crib and toddler room is open and staffed all morning long.
This Sunday is also Commitment Sunday. Please pray for how your prayers, presence, gifts and service will help to seek Jesus’ Love and Justice, and grow Jesus’ Kin-dom here are Brecksville United Methodist Church and bring your Pledge Card to present on the altar during the offertory portion of the worship service.  Know that you are part of growing and bringing ever more people into Jesus’ very special Kin-dom!

Rahab Christmas
Rahab Ministries reached out to us with this request: "We are in need of women sized fuzzy socks (usually found at the dollar store) to pass out for Christmas to our various ministries. We also need gel pens and small bottles of lotion (the women prefer Bath and Body Works)." Want to help?  Bring your donations to the crate on the piano in the Parlor!

New changing tables have been installed
Great news, moms and dads! New changing tables have been installed in both the women and men's restrooms on the second floor (the same floor as the Sanctuary.)  Look for them inside the large stalls in each restroom.

Sunday Morning Classes for All Ages

The Sunday morning education hour (at 10 o’clock) is an opportunity to explore your faith and to meet and get to know a smaller group of your church family. Visitors are always welcome in every class! Every Sunday features classes for children, youth and adults. This fall, we have two options for adults during the education hour. (See below.) 

Theology and the Arts With Pastor Clark

Christians are made in the image of God the Creator, destined to create music, poetry, fiction, dance and other works of art. Please consider joining in our discussion as we examine how much our theology informs the arts of our popular culture. Please join with Pastor Clark and friends in room 301 during our Sunday School hour for a thought provoking study.

The Great Spiritual Migration Book Study meets in the Chapel.  If you've ever felt like you were on the outside looking in at a church, or if you have ever struggled to make sense of your faith, this book is for you. Join Jenny Gee and friends in the Chapel.
YOGA IN THE CHAPEL Thursday evenings 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm through December 13 (no class on Thanksgiving). This class is open to ALL levels - from never-beens to seasoned yogis. Experience a blend of yang (heat/effort) and yin (cool/surrender) appropriately adjusted for each individual. Cost for the class is $40 for the eight week session.  Drop in rate is $7. Slow down, simplify, and add a burst of color to your Advent this year. Experience contemplative time with friends in this  journey through Advent, using the book Mandalas, Candles and Prayer: A Simply Centered Advent by Sharon Seyfarth Garner. We have one group meeting on Monday mornings from 7:30 am - 8:30 am (Dec. 3,10 and 17).  Is there another time that works better for you?  We may add a class or two, based on interest!
