Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance?

- Lewis Carroll

Worship with us this Sunday!
8:30 Worship on the Lawn. 10:00 Worship in the Sanctuary.
Sometimes, you just have to dance!  This week at Brecksville United Methodist Church, we've been thinking about dancing. Our mornings have begun with singing and dancing at Rolling River Rampage Vacation Bible School, and we've been preparing for Pastor Clark's message on Sunday, "Sometimes you just have to dance."  Come hear what that's about on Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10 o'clock.  (Richard Gere may even make an appearance at the 10 o'clock service.)
Sunday's Message: Sometimes you just have to dance.
Sunday's Scriptures: Psalm 24 and 2 Samuel 6:1-5, 12b-19
Sunday's Announcements:  Read them here!
Sunday's Music:  Click here for a playlist of songs for the 10 o'clock service.
Did you miss last Sunday's Message?  Hear it here! (Scroll to the bottom of the page.)
We're having a great week at Vacation Bible School
We have 108 kids participating in and 50 volunteers helping with Rolling River Rampage VBS and the church is full of life and laughter. We're learning about God's unconditional love for us all, and that we can find adventure, acceptance, joy, rest, and peace on the river!  See pictures on our Facebook Page!
WE’RE HAVING A COOK OUT!  Come join the church staff for Lunch Bunch, Tuesday, July 17 at noon in Fellowship Hall.  We’re cooking up hotdogs and hamburgers, and would love to spend the lunch hour with you! As always, ALL are welcome! Reply to this e-mail to sign up.  It’s FREE if you RSVP.

WE ARE CALLED TO WORSHIP GOD WITH FULL HEARTS.  Every week, a team of people: pastor, musicians, liturgists, ushers, tech team, and communion stewards, have a direct hand in leading people into a worship experience with the creator of the universe.  Do you want to be a part of that?  Talk with Pastor Clark, sign up in the lobby or call the church office to let us know how you’d like to get involved and what you would like to learn! 440-526-8938 or office@brecksvilleumc.com
We Have T-Shirts!   Help celebrate our bike ministry in style - wear a BUMC Bike Ministry t-shirt! They'll be on sale Sunday morning, and are also available to purchase during office hours (Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 4:30.  Fridays 8:30 until 12:30 pm).  Shirts are $20, and any additional dollars you might be willing to donate will be put toward fixing more bikes for those in need.
Dish and laundry soap are items that cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits and are necessities our brothers and sisters in need often find hard to afford.  Want to help fix this?  Add laundry or dish soap to your shopping list, and bring your donation to the Brookside Food Center bin (on the first floor of the church) by July 19. Thank you!!
The bins were emptied this morning, so there's lots of room in them right now for your old newspapers, magazines, and (broken down) cardboard. THANK YOU for supporting hunger ministry by recycling at Brecksville United Methodist Church!

Brecksville United Methodist Church is called to the ministry of reconciliation. We embrace diversity as a gift. We celebrate our human family’s diversity of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, faith history, economic status, marital status, physical and mental ability, and education. We affirm that all people are created in the image of God and as beloved children of God, all are worthy of God’s love and grace. We welcome the full inclusion of all people in the life and ministries of Brecksville United Methodist Church as we journey toward reconciliation through Christ.
