This provides a great opportunity for your program to have access to potential volunteers that are interested in working specifically with your program!

'Tis the Season for Mentee Training

It's that time of year again! School is back in session, which means that mentoring programs will begin their recruitment soon. While you are planning for your Mentoring 101 or Everyday Mentoring training for your mentors, please also consider having a Mentee Training for your youth. TMP has designed a toolkit that will help you plan activities for this session. It is important that young people understand the nature of the mentorship they are about to begin and what expectations you have for them, as well. Please reach out to Sophia at sduck@mentoringpittsburgh.org for more information about the toolkit!

Nominations are now being accepted for TMP's Excellence in Mentoring Awards. Both Formal and Everyday Mentoring® organizations may apply and winners will be recognized at The Magic of Mentoring on Tuesday, October 29th at Heinz Field. To learn more about the Excellence in Mentoring Award or to nominate a program, please click here.

Self-nominations are encouraged!  The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, September 13, 2019.
