McKinney Summer Musicals presents the musical version of the story of England’s King Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot, and the Knights of the Round Table, by the famed Lerner & Lowe. 7:30-10 p.m. at McKinney North High School, 2550 Wilmeth. (Continues next weekend.) Tickets online.
Hugs Cafe has gathered local bands to Rock Downtown McKinney and raise money to help open the first Hugs Cafe in McKinney. (Part of the staff at Hugs Cafe will be adults with special needs.) At McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee, 5-9 p.m.

Art galleries, restaurants and some shops stay open late, featuring artists, musicians and fun on McKinney's downtown square.
LAST Art Gallery: Open until 9 p.m., artists Sherry Daerr and Cindy Daunis will paint out front of the gallery. The gallery now has 26 local area artists displaying their art.
