Our Be the Peace-Be the Hope program was featured in the most recent issue of ArtHouston Magazine!

To read more about this powerful Educational and Healing arts program, please check out the “HopeArt” article (pages 68-72 in print) or click here.

Let's continue this journey of Hope together by supporting the much needed healing arts workshops that we're implementing for refugee children in Houston schools.

A huge thank you to everyone and the many organizations that continue to help children whose lives have been shattered.

In support of the Be the Peace – Be the Hope program and in the context of the 2017 French Cultures Festival, TFAA, French Education Greater Houston, The Wide School, Eagles on the Rock, and Mark White Elementary are joining forces to create an exchange of tales between children from Houston and those from several schools in Burkina Faso, Africa (including the students from the refugee camps where the Be the Peace - Be the Hope team recently implemented an educational and therapeutic art program).

The project strives to create an exchange and friendships between the children of the two countries through French and English language while sensitizing the children of Houston to the situation of the children who found refuge in Burkina Faso.

FROM A SPACE TO A PLACE

The OST students designed proposals for the decoration of the community Juice Box gifted recently by Rice University. The students shared powerful messages and got the attention of the talented mural artist Anat Ronen, who will be facilitating with the TFAA team the next steps of the artistic process.
Our TFAA team is grateful to be part of this meaningful project, an offshoot of the From A Space to A Place program, inviting youth to reimagine and improve public spaces in their community while developing positive connections between their environment and its people.
