The LAUNCH Ledger
November Issue
Don't forget, Daylight Savings is November 4th! Set your clocks and Fall back.
Fun LAUNCH Photos from October
October was full of fun, learning, and deep spiritual discovery in action. In October we learned about Wisdom, Faithfulness, Compassion, and Holiness. We explored the 10 Commandments and how to stay faithful to follow them. We learned about the saints and how they loved God with all their being. We even participated in activities to help us be more saint-like through service or project presentations.

November 18-20, 2018
November 25-30, 2018
There are no classes Thanksgiving week or the following week because all classrooms are emptied to set up for the Apple Annie craft fair.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd November Agenda:
As we look ahead to Advent, we continue to prepare with geography/maps to think with the children (3-6 years old) about Jesus, specifically that He was a real person who lived here among us.  We are also focusing on the colors of the church and how they correspond to the liturgical seasons.  We do this through songs, a calendar, and the different colored chasubles of the priest.  In addition, we are working on the items of the altar and always circling back to The Good Shepherd who cares for His sheep, stays close to His sheep, and whom the sheep follow because they know His voice.
