Aaron Copland's Appalachian Springs Concert (Friday)
Odysseus Chamber Orchestra will present this work in its original form as a ballet. The first half of the concert promises a pairing of beloved chamber music with original choreography by Amiti Perry. Works by Britten (Night Music), Ravel (2nd Movement from String Quartet), Bach (Cello Suite no. 1), Piazzolla (Oblivion) and Karmanov (Michael Music) will be featured. At Church Street Auditorium, 306 N. Church., 8 p.m. Tickets are available online (adults, $15; students/seniors, $11) and at the door (add $3 per ticket to the price). 
 
 
 
 
 
Mission Regan: Give So Others Can Live 5K and Fun Run (Saturday)
At Cockrill Middle School, 1351 Hardin Road. 1-mile Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m., 5K race starts at 9 a.m. Register

Collin McKinney - An Early Texas Exhibit (Now Open- Ongoing)
In conjunction with the official Collin McKinney 250th birthday celebration in April, the Collin County Historical Society & Museum is exhibiting artifacts of Collin McKinney's home and life.Thursday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. through May 2016. Tucker Hill Community Garage Sale (Saturday)
Residents of McKinney's Tucker Hill development will host their Second Annual Community Garage Sale. The event will be staged in one location just inside the neighborhood's main entrance. This one-stop convenient location makes shopping for bargains even easier! In the event of inclement weather, updates will be posted on
