Discipleship University (Holy Grounds Cafe)
You may sign up today at the info table in the foyer. The two DU courses offered are:
1. The Insanity of Obedience, by missionaries Nik and Ruth Ripken, is a 6-week video driven study. All Christian disciples will face adversity and persecution as they carry the gospel across the ocean or across the street. How we respond reveals everything about our level of faith and obedience. In this study Nik Ripken issues a bold challenge to global discipleship.
2. Worldviews: Everyone has a worldview, whether they realize it or not. In this class we will examine the fundamental parts of the Christian worldview. We will then examine other worldviews including Islam, the “New Age”, naturalism, and scientism to see what they believe and how we as Christians can respond as salt and light.
Pastor’s Class (Holy Grounds Cafe)
This is the pastor’s orientation class for new members and those interested in church membership. A light supper and childcare are provided at no cost. Sign your name and write “Pastor’s Class” on the Welcome Tab attached to the bulletin to register for this class. You may leave this with the pastor at the coffee station/reception area after the worship service.

PRAY / GIVE / GROW
One of the ongoing challenges for our church in the days ahead is the challenge of maintaining our many facilities on this church campus. Many of our buildings are old and require a great deal of maintenance and upkeep. Recently, our Property and Grounds Committee along with our Finance Committee have identified some very urgent needs that require immediate attention (a badly needed new roof, and some serious leaks on other roofs, and mold damage). These identified needs are very costly to repair. In light of this information our Finance Committee and church officers are currently looking into the possibility of securing a loan or line of credit so these necessary repairs could be done soon. This action, of course, will require church approval.
Therefore, our church leadership would like to invite you (members of our church) to a special question/answer session today at 4:30pm in the sanctuary. Detailed information can be given at this time as well as addressing any questions you have concerning this project. (Nursery, childcare, along with children and student activities will be provided at this time.)
NOTICE TO GREETERS: There will be a Greeter’s meeting on Sunday, June 4 at 5pm in the Holy Grounds Cafe. All volunteers in the Greeter’s Ministry are asked to attend.
