Worship with us this Sunday!
8:45 Worship Service - with live band
10 Coffee and Classes for all ages
11:15 Worship Service - with traditional hymns
What's a Chalk Talk?  On the last Sunday of every month, Pastor Clark pulls out the white board to share the who, what, when, where and why of the scriptures. This week's talk is "On the Road Again", and we will continue to explore Jesus' teachings about living in intimacy with God. For our community today, and in each of our lives, who are the supposed outsiders, the disenfranchised, the excluded (whether we intend to exclude them or not) - and how can we reach out to them, build bridges with them, learn from them?

It's also New Member Sunday, a time of celebration as we welcome three people who have decided to make a commitment to this community of faith:  Sharon Judson, David Stoffer, and Jessica Vastartis.  We're grateful for each one of you and that you've found your way here.

We also begin a new, three week series for adults and high school students during the 10 o'clock hour.  We're calling it "Got Questions?"  It picks up where Pastor Clark's study of the book "Ask: Faith Questions in a Skeptical Age" left off.  What questions do you have?   Let's dive into them together.

Hanging Baskets for Mother's Day Support YSP
We’re doing things a little differently for the 2018 Youth Service Project spring fundraiser. Kollman’s Greenhouse will handpick and design beautiful hanging baskets just for us!  They will artistically design combination baskets, specifically for sun or shade, with their healthy, locally grown plants.
Pre-order your plants to pick up on Saturday, May 12. Additional baskets will be available for purchase on Mother’s Day, May 13.  Prefer to pick out your own hanging baskets? We will have vouchers for Kollman's for sale on Mother’s Day!  Order forms in this Sunday's bulletin, or download here.
Red Geraniums for Pentecost Sunday (May 20)
Let’s fill the Sanctuary with red flowers as a symbol of the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost/Confirmation Sunday, May 20.  You can take your plant home after the service, or donate it to be planted in the church yard as a summer-long reminder of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.  You can designate your plant in honor of memory of a loved one in the bulletin, too. Plants are $5 each.  Order form in Sunday's bulletin, or download here!
A trip to the Rose Bowl.  Evening Circle invites you to join them in the Parlor, Wednesday evening (5/2) at 6:30 for a brief business meeting, followed at 7 pm as Ann and Bill Rittman share their experiences working on a Rose Bowl Parade float this year.  Refreshments will be served and all are welcome!
