Who’s Your Farmer?
Charlotte Groseclose

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Charlotte Groseclose joined the Farm in the summer of 2017 as a cashier.  Charlotte went to Gettysburg College and studied Sociology.  She first started visiting the island when she was just 4 months old, though she does not remember much from her early years, she remembers the relief to no longer be in the 100 degree heat of Maryland.  She remembers loving Nantucket's beaches, though as a child she was afraid of the big waves.  Her siblings soon convinced her to go in!

Charlotte is a jack of all trades here at the farm. She started as a cashier and returned this season as a stocker supervisor in the market.  Lately, she has been splitting her days between the two departments.  Charlotte looks forward to seeing her coworkers and seeing what they will all find to laugh about that day.
“And of course," says Charlotte,  "visiting my emotional support succulent on Lauren’s desk”.

Days off are cherished during the season, and Charlotte spends her's by walking downtown to the Bean or the Corner Table, writing letters for friends and family, visiting the Athenaeum, lots of beach time and wrapping it all up with a "Farmily" Taco Night.  Charlotte, like all of us, has many fun facts about herself, but the one that she finds to be the best is that she has only had 8 haircuts in her entire life!  Charlotte's easy going personality and her willingness to jump in and help anyone has made her an asset to both the market and the customer service teams.  We love the time we have had with Charlotte and cannot wait to have another season with her!
