Invited to Abundant Life

The invitation is always there--that's the theme of our second Summer Suppers on Wednesday, July 13. Our special program starts July 6! Have you registered yet?

What do you imagine when you think of abundance? In Isaiah 55:1-11, God invites all people--including you, me, and our families--to a truly abundant life. God promises that those who really open up their ears and listen to God's Word will find spiritual food and drink providing deeper sustenance and strength than any worldly morsel.

So many of the passages we find in the Old Testament, like this one from Isaiah, resonate equally with both children and adults, and are strikingly similar to the Gospel at the heart of our faith. We invite you and your family to explore this and other incredible Old Testament stories with kids, teens and adults at our brand new six-week inter-generational program on Wednesday evenings this summer.
Summer Suppers is our new inter-generational, bilingual summer program designed to provide worship, learning, and community to our diverse congregation and neighborhood on Wednesday evenings in July and August. We invite you, along with friends and family, to join us for dinner and worship with people of all ages, speaking both English and Spanish, followed by Bible study in groups ranging from small children to adults.

We begin our inter-generational journey through the Old Testament on Wednesday, July 6. Register today! Even if you can't make all six Wednesdays, you are invited to register for the nights you can make it. Program fees are minimal and scholarships are available, but all participants are asked to register so we know how to prepare.
