Celebrate the joy of reading at the Library!

April is Family Reading Month

For Families with kids ages birth -14 

Enjoy lots of fun literacy activities with your family during the month of April!  Pick up a copy of the Family Reading Month Calendar at the library.  Check each day that you spend 20 minutes reading with your child. For every 5 checks, you will be entered in a drawing to win great prizes including 4 free admission tickets to Longwood Gardens.  The drawing will be held on April 30.

Join us for free, interactive story times for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and families!  We offer educational and fun sessions on different days and evenings. Check our calendar and register for the one that best fits your needs.

Library Closed


The library will be closed on Friday, March 30 and Sunday, April 1 in honor of Good Friday and Easter.   We will be open on Saturday, March 31 from 10am - 5pm.



A Wrinkle in Time Book Discussion

Are you interested in the new movie A Wrinkle in Time?  Read the book first and then join us for a night dedicated to this children's sci-fi classic.  We'll talk about the book, play trivia and do other fun activities.  Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the book in advance.
