Family Symphony Sunday: Pirates & Princesses (Sunday)
The Plano Symphony Orchestra presents a 45-minute musical performance geared toward families with children aged 3-12 with music from family movies including "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Aladdin," "Cinderella," and more! Meet the musicians and enjoy pre-concert activities beginning at 2:15 p.m. Scouts can earn the Plano Symphony Orchestra fun patch while attending the concert by completing the scavenger hunt activity available from 2-3 p.m. in the lobby prior to the concert. 2:!5-4 p.m. $8-14. Shakespeare, Sharks and Puppets
Kinetic sculptor/puppet artist Melissa Patrello opens her world through this interactive exhibit showcasing her latest creations of flying puppets, singing monsters and mechanical creatures. Free. 6-9 p.m. At The Cove, 402 N. Tennessee.

Nature Storytime (Friday)
This weekly storytime focuses on nature-related stories to engage children in learning and the appreciation and care of nature. 10:30-11 a.m. 

Third Saturday Nature Talks (Saturday)
These talks cover an assortment of natural science topics which vary each month. Many of the programs include an outside component so make sure to dress appropriately.

Open Mic Night (Thursday, 6-8 p.m.) - Come listen to some great hidden gems at our open mic night! Want to play? Show up, ask for Bo, and get your name added to the playlist. 

Comedy Show at TUPPS (Friday, 7-10 p.m.) - Laugh with six comedians and enjoy Pit Pals BBQ, all with no cover charge to attend. The event starts at 7 p.m. so come early, grab a beer, grab and seat and get ready for some Full Grown comedy!

Southern Dawgs Torch Ride (Saturday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.)
Take part in an escorted ride through the backroads of the McKinney area as we ride in support of Special Olympics Texas and raise money for local athletes. Cost is $25 per rider, $15 per passenger, and includes donuts and coffee at race start lunch at the brewery at race's end. Entertainment and door prizes follow lunch. Register online

World War I Exhibit: This exhibit continues into 2018, honoring Collin County men who served 100 years ago. IPads provide interactive experience. Collin County History Museum, 300 E. Virginia. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
