The North Texas Printmaking Guild is a collection of professional artists based in North Texas who strive to increase exposure for the print arts through collaborations, discourse, gallery shows, hands on educational demonstrations and Guild-driven exchanges.Opening reception on Friday, 6-9 p.m.; Saturday, 5-9 p.m.; and Sunday, 2-6 p.m. (includes print making demos). Back in the kingdom of Wychwood-Under-Ooze, Wise Prince Jason (winner of the Math Olympics and the Nobel Prize), Strong Prince Justin (who can bench press his own mother) and ordinary Loud Prince Frank all want to woo Little Red Riding Hood. So the king and queen hire the Fairy Godmother to set three tasks for the princes to perform. Presented by MRT's Young Actors Guild. Friday-Saturday, 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday-Sunday, 2 p.m. $12 adults: $8 students and seniors; $6 YAG members.
The Pairing Series "Hues and Blues"  John Bramblitt + Cast of Blues

The first exhibit in the Pairing Series, "Hues and Blues" pairs paintings by world renowned blind painter John Bramblitt (shown above right) with The Cast of Blues Exhibit from Midwest Arts Alliance featuring interactive touchable casts by sight impaired sculpturer Sharon McConnell-Dickerson.  9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s first collaboration is set in a Western Indian territory just after the turn of the century. It depicts the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys as the colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Saturday at 7 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinees both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $25 and available online. At Church Street Auditorium, 306 N. Church Street.
Comedy at the Sanctuary: Pastor Fred Thomas (Friday)
Anointed, hilarious and genuine are just a few words to describe The Pastor Fred. From his humble beginnings in Greenville, Texas, Pastor Fred finds the funny in all situations. Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. $15 in advance and $20 at the door (2 drink minimum). At The Sanctuary Music and Events, 6622 Virginia, Adriatica.
Enjoy the carnival food and shop with over 450 vendors offering trendy apparel, sunglasses, unique home décor, sporting goods and hundreds of other great items that can only be found at Trade Days. Cool off with snow cones, cold fruit drinks, lemonade, or visit the 30 vendors in the air-conditioned Mall. Open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. No admission fee. Story times are designed for young children with a different nature-themed book each week. 30-45 minutes. 10:30 a.m.

Zip Line Day (shown, Saturday) 
Guests climb a 23-ft tree to the zip platform then proceed to a 487 ft. zip line. One ticket ($12 each) for each trip down the zip line. Pre-reservations required.

Native Texas Butterfly House & Garden (Now Open)
Walk among free-flying native butterflies and other pollinators in our Native Texas Butterfly House & Garden, which opens for its summer season on Saturday. This exhibit is open during regular operating hours.

3rd Saturday Nature Talks: Texas Cats-Big and Small (Saturday)
Lots of different kinds of cats call Texas home. This program, open to the public, will teach you about them and learn about them and where they live. Please dress appropriately as some programs have an outdoor component. These talks begin at 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise listed.
