Don't Miss Christmas
We had an amazing time in Western Canada with the combined Adult and Teen Challenge centers of British Columbia. Putting together Eastern B.C and Western BC mass choirs from the students of the men's and Women's centers with an opportunity raise up partners for their ministry through 7 Partner banquets across the province. In addition to these amazing meetings we were truly blessed to do Spiritual Emphasis in the centers as well as staff training. Cathy and I were both blessed by the hunger for the word and passion for Jesus that we saw in the staff and students we met in British Columbia.
In one day, the city lost 3 men and 2 women who died of Opioid overdose. The saddest thing is they died alone.  In fact, with intervention medication, although deaths among street drug users has declined in the last 2 years it’ has increased to 84% for those "using" in their own home. They die alone fearing the shame of exposing their addiction

In BC the government is building a 105 bed secular facility that will open in 2019.  The cost is $101 million which translates to $1.06 million per bed.  They plan to re-locate the existing 94 bed Burnaby Mental Health and Addictions Centre there so it will add only 11 more beds
That is the total bed count for the Provincial Health Authority to deal with an addiction’s crisis that killed 1103 people between Jan1 and October 1, 2017.  It killed those 5 people in Abbotsford in less than 9 hours. A waitress in Chillawak told us about her son's OD -The hospital told here he was the 5th overdose that day--I was not 5 PM-- That was just one week before we arrived.

Adult and Teen Challenge British Columbia is in a strategic position right now to make a difference in this opioid Crisis. The 100 available beds locked into failed paradigms with limited success rate will not produce lasting results. The rests of the secular community pale in comparison to testimony of TC students who are experiencing the miracle of new life at our centers. Please pray that as they labor tirelessly, that God will open doors for them to step into this critical need with compassion and and he power of God

VIDEO ~~ Don't Miss Christmas ~~ VIDEO

I walked up to the checkout, the cashier greeted me...
."Happy holidays"
I smiled and said "Merry Christmas- Jesus Saved my life."
She said, "I wish I could say that"

After I prayed for her, I shared, "Don't miss Christmas," and God gave me this song. Join The Adult and Teen Challenge BC Mass Choir for my new Music VIIDEO

Don't Miss . . .
Thanks be to God for his
indescribable gift!" 2 Cor 9:15

I hope you had time to click the link and view the music video of my new song, Don't Miss CHRISTmas filmed last week in Canada with the Adult & Teen Challenge BC Mass Choirs.

In the midst of the swirl of everything going on, don't squeeze Jesus out of the holiday that bears His name!

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of this Christmas season, it is easy to be overwhelmed by the circumstances and the sentimentality of the season. For some ladies, there is the social pressure to be a dynamic fusion of Martha Stewart, Mary, the mother of Jesus, and every aunt that baked great cookies or wrapped presents. For the men, there is the competition to have the best-decorated house or pressure to be the life of the office party or church social - costumes, cards, presents, pageants and "stuff," lots and lots of stuff. Have you missed the Christ in Christmas and just replaced Him with a mass of activity?.

The Bible gives us some amazing examples. The innkeeper was not a scoundrel. He was a hard-working entrepreneur trying to keep his head above water in the midst of a crush of visitors to the city of Bethlehem.

While at first glance it may appear he rejected a needy family and a pregnant lady in their hour of need, he did more than the others who may have offered nothing. Still, in the midst of earthly cares, focused on what he saw as his most important lodgers, he missed the most amazing Guest that would ever knock on his door. There was a miracle standing right before him and he MISSED Him.

Certainly, that night, in Bethlehem in 00, did not seem like anything special. It was just the conclusion of an already furious day, crowded with interruptions and the press of visitors, when divine opportunity knocked. All he saw was a homeless peasant family. He had no idea that a baby would be born that night Who would change the destiny of all humankind. Nothing would ever be the same again.
Like the innkeeper, we tend to get too busy, too. He was not rejecting Jesus;  he was just distracted. In 2017, we live in a world of distraction.

Herod believed Jesus was coming but was unwilling to surrender. Bound by insecurity, He was fearful of this one called the “King of Jews,” so he feigned worship. He did not want any competition for control of his kingdom. Like Herod, we are happy to have Jesus in our life. It is great to have “God in your pocket,” my “go-to” guy when I’m in trouble or get a cold.  Certainly open for a blessing -- helpful in a pinch. We add His grace to our lives and call ourselves Christians. But the truth is, the Christmas message is that even as a baby… He was the king. The Magi got that. As others were passive, indifferent, or insecure, they were bringing their greatest gift.

The religious were there. Herod enlisted them to find the answers to the Magi’s question, “Where would the baby be born?” They had all the religious facts, but missed the Christ. Either too lazy or too indifferent to make the short journey. They knew prophesy well enough to quote Micah 5:2. They were the theologians of the day, scripture savants, Bible brainiacs, Torah Titans. But in the end, the religious elite, even with all of their knowledge and information, did not meet Messiah personally that night.

Despite all they “knew,” they did not care enough to act on it! The innkeeper could claim ignorance. At least Herod feared Jesus’ authority. The religious leaders had all the facts and they just didn't care. They were so used to discussing Messiah, debating Messiah and philosophizing about Messiah that actually seeing Him was no longer important to them. Is it possible that, confident in their righteousness and works, they felt like they didn't need Him? God is fine as long as He does not inconvenience me or disrupt my routine. Their mantra, “Don't openly oppose Him; just ignore Him.” They did not care about the remedy – perhaps because they didn’t think they had the disease. Has your knowledge of Jesus made the 18 inch journey from your head to your heart?

Don’t miss Christmas this year. Let’s get past the sentiment, past the parties, and the gift-giving. Let us celebrate the King-in person for Himself. O Come, let us ADORE HIM.
Don’t miss Jesus, He is the greatest gift of all.

Amazing Banquets

We had an amazing time working with the Adult and Teen Challenge BC students and staff. It was a blessing to see God raising up partners at the Appreciation Banquets as well as some great church services from the mountains of eastern British Columbia, Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton and Oliver- then across the snow covered mountains to the lush landscape of the mainland and Vancouver, Chilliwack, Surrey and Abbotsford.

Ministering the word, Sharing the miracle of 1400 TC Centers in 100 Nations and their part in this huge missionary family was such a blessing. Pray that as God builds the foundation of Life transformation, they will sense the call to reach the world

I pray God is blessing your Christmas season. We made this powerful 3 minute video to reflect tine power of His Incarnation. Please take a moment to view-I prey it will bless you 2

In the gift of the incarnation, Jesus left the timelessness of eternity and divinity to wrap himself with humanity. In my finite human understanding, I can't even begin to comprehend the power of this sacrifice.

Again I say
unto you,
That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done
for them of
my Father which is in heaven.

1) Ventura California

Pray for people the falling victim to the raging wildfires in California. We are so grateful that morphine challenge students were injured or lost their lives, but in Ventura, but Teen challenge women's program lost a number of their buildings, including their dormitory and all personal belongings.

2) KENYA - URGENT equipment transit

These credit for Pastor Joe and the increasing number challenge centers in Kenya as they prepare to celebrate her 10th anniversary in February 2018. Print God powerfully in the spirit emphasis and anniversary celebrations

Please pray for Pastor Banach And the team as they continue the work of our Ethiopia missions. God continues to open doors following the ministry there in the refugee camps. In the prison where we ministered, change in some of the men was so profound that they released 33 prisoners to Banak in the weeks following our they needed a building, they need staff. They need miracles.

4) Puerto Rico

Please continue to pray for Teen Challenge Puerto Rico--for electricity, finances, repairs, food, and water. Not only are they working hard to restore their own devastated facilitates, they continue to reach out to the community and minister to the needs across the island. Has your church or Teen Challenge center considered sending a construction team to Puerto Rico?

We are working closely with three extremely sensitive nations right now with our open doors. We cannot mention them by name but there are exciting opportunities for teen challenge .... The leaders have asked us not to pray for their safety, that they might minister work with power.

Pray with us for the global advance of the gospel. Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 120 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in over 32 new nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.
MATTHEW 9: 37 Then He said to His disciples,
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
