The Hallelujah Girls (Friday-Sunday)
Hilarity abounds when the feisty females of Eden Falls, Georgia, decide to shake up their lives in this McKinney Repertory Theatre production. Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.; 2:30 p.m. matinees Saturday and Sunday. General admission tickets available online - $18 adults, $15 students and seniors, $13 children. (Continues next weekend.)

Music Under the Stars (Saturday)
Local singer-songwriters Jon Christopher Davis and Maylee Thomas take the stage at Wales Manor Vineyard & Winery for an evening of music, wine, and wood-fired pizza under the stars and tree boughs. 7-10 p.m., 4488 CR 408. $15 per person; no outside beverages. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.
This stage production by McKinney Boyd Broadway Broncos is based upon the book, "Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl," the dramatic story of a young Jewish girl hiding from Nazi persecution during WWII. At MBHS, 600 N. Lake Forest. Tickets are $8, students, $10 for adults; available online. Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.

Brew-Ha-Ha Comedy Series (Friday)
TUPPS Brewery hosts this show with Mama Michelle Henderson and featuring Bobbie Friske. Tickets are $20 in advance for pint glass, tour, three craft beers and the show. (If tickets are still available that night, they're $25 a at the door.) VIP tables for four are $100. Doors open at 7 p.m., tour at 7:30 p.m., show seating at 8 p.m.and show at 8:30 p.m. VIPizza food truck will sell food.​​​​​​​

Wish 100 Bike Race (shown, Saturday)
The Make-a-Wish Foundation returns to McKinney again for their 8th annual bicycle rally. An anticipated 1200 cyclists will ride four routes throughout McKinney and Collin County. Registration online is $30 by noon on Friday, 10/7; $40 on rally day.

Dinosaurs Live (Thru Feb. 19)
They're back! Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and eight new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the Heard's nature trails.Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Included in general museum admission.

Nature Story Time (Friday)
Designed primarily for young children and introducing a different nature-themed book each week, these programs are included in the general admission. 10:30-11 a.m.

2nd Saturday Bird Walk: No reservations are required, but you must arrive on time (8 a.m.). This walk is included in general admission and is free for Heard Museum members.

Guided Trail (Saturday): Experience the ecology, geology, flora and fauna of the Heard Sanctuary. Led by our trained guides, your group will spend 45-60 minutes hiking our unique landscape.  Preregistration required online.

Ropes Course Adventure Day (Sunday): Guests will be able to participate in the Power Pole, Giant's Ladder, and the Bessie Climbing Tree. Individuals and small groups (nine or less persons) are welcome to participate in these pre-scheduled Adventure Days. Reservations required online. $35 per person. 1-4 p.m.

National Fossil Day Celebration (Sunday): Learn about ancient teeth, see casts of animals, become a member of the "PIT" Crew (Paleontologists in Training) and work with members of the Dallas Paleontological Society. 1:30-4 p.m. Included in cost of admission.
