Local artisanal cheese maker Elizabeth Hitchcock will share her techniques for making fresh mozzarella and burrata and will have samples of her amazing stracciatella.
We'll also have coffee, tea and freshly baked farm goodies. And everyone who attends will receive a 10% coupon for anything in the market!

Folks often ask
"What do you do all winter at the farm?"

Here Fernanda Longo, our Greenhouse Manager, is taking cuttings from a Teucrium fruticans (common name tree germander). She cuts a piece of the plant, dips it in a liquid rooting hormone and places it in a cell tray. The cutting will produce new roots and stems to be a new plant. After they are established she will transplant them into 4” pots and they will be available in the garden center this summer.

Even when it is windy and cold outside inside the greenhouse is kind of warm, especially if it is sunny!
