As the sun set on our trip to Fiji, we powered on to Camp Champion for Spiritual Impact, STAY FLAMMABLE, with Brother Don Wilkerson, Jimmy Jack, Russ Hodgins and TC students from Brooklyn TC, Long Island and across the Northeast. We are so grateful to James Lowens, the Global TC Asia Pacific Regional Director, our hosts Lata and Hemraj Mangal as well as Program Director Seth Greenwell, his lovely new wife, Gulnaz, and the TC teams that joined us for this powerful time of ministry in the South Pacific. We cannot do it alone.

God moved powerfully in Fiji. We did 21 meetings in 13 days, from schools, street prison meetings & Pastors awareness conferences to staff training, open Air, Sugar festival and churches as a part of FESTIVAL FIJI the LIFE EXPERIENCE. The team from American Samoa and Eric from Western Samoa made an amazing contribution to the powerful ministry that God did on this island. We cannot do it without you, we appreciate your prayers!

It amazes me that in such an idyllic island paradise with an tremendous commitment to "God," the Bible, and family that, according to police department records, every 36 hours someone commits suicide in the Fijian islands. Pastor Hemraj, Seth and the TC team are battling not only addiction but the wall of silence that surrounds drug, alcohol and Kava abuse. May God empower them as they move forward with Living Free.

Life Experience-Ratu Sakuna Park, FIJI

Local church groups, dance teams, choirs and singers joined us in Ratu Sakuna Park in Suva. Named for Ratu Sir Lala Sakuna KCMG KBE he was a Fijian chief, scholar, soldier, and statesman, regarded as forerunner of the post-independence leadership that has unified Fiji.

The permanent stage in this large park is a center of culture and leisure in the Capitol City, Suva and an amazing location for the TC Outreach. The folks loved it when I sang dressed in a traditional Fijian Soula- check out them legs! (Of course I then ministered in my gray suit for modesty's sale LOL)

Prison Ministry
God granted unprecedented access to leadership of the Department of Corrections.
We ministered in both men and women's facilities and as God touched lives. TC Fiji will meet with them further to develop a Memorandum of Understanding with FIJI TC,
Executive Director Hemraj Mangal and Seth Greenwell the program director for Fiji TC. The MOI is expected to address Teen Challenge as an alternate sentencing option for post incarceration prisoner care. Pray that God will grant favor and opportunity to truly impact lives. With 1859 prisoners- there is an open door for miracles.
Pray for
Fiji Teen Challenge and for miracles and lasting fruit that will impact the nation.

2 Timothy, my beloved son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord ... I remember you in my prayers night and day ...
6 For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you through the laying
on of my hands.
~ ~ II Tim 2:2 & 6 ~ ~

One of our favorite traditions here at the Lake Champion Spiritual Impact in New York is the nightly staff campfire behind Eagle Point Lodge. We gather around a roaring fire with over 50 staff as Brother Wilkerson, others that we have labored with for almost 40 years, and even new staff tell the stories to the laughter and cheers of all. It is not just the history, It is the vision as this year we reflected on Pastor Jimmy Jacks opening message, "I'm Fired Up."

The following morning, as I went out for my prayer walk, glanced at the fire pit. I immediately wondered, "What had happened to that roaring fire?" No one could have doused it the night before, but now, after the night, it was just smoldering pile of embers.

The truth is, the same thing can happen in our walk with God. The passion wanes, the heart grows cold and the fire is gone. There was no deliberate effort to douse the flames, but like a cold October night in the Catskills of Upstate New York, a fire untended goes out. This is just as true of our spiritual life.

The fire is God's, but it is in us. Paul does not tell Timothy, get a "new fire,." He says, "Fan the flame you already have. We think we need to go get a new fire. Go to another conference, buy a new book . . . God says," Fan the flame I already gave you.

I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God
It is significant the Paul says,"I remind you." This was clearly not the first time Paul had mentioned this. He does not say, go get new fire. He does not say you have to go out and get a new book. The gift was in Timothy. It just had to be stirred up.

THE GIFT IS IN YOU ! God is calling you to stir up that gift. Satan self and the culture all conspire to extinguish the flames and steal our fire. Stir up the gift. Shame and accusation comes with lies and we question, "Maybe, maybe it’s just me,I am profoundly flawed, I can't. You are right when you say," I can't." You can't, I can't either, but God can- Stir up the gift!

Its time we stopped running from the fear and give satan a panic attack. It time to forget about Facebook and get our face in God's book.

Instead we stir up excuses, allow shame to have rent-free occupancy in our heart. We become listless . It paralyzes us in the flames go out. We say, "God what is next? Show me what is coming." Never expect God to share the next step until you have obeyed the last instruction that He gave you. Stir it up

It’s not knowing just knowing what you should do … It’s making sure that you do.… The gift is in you.

Stir up the calling, stir up the promise, go to the house of God again,"Stir it up." Satan and circumstance want to shut you up, bound, shamed, no trust- but the apostle Paul goes on to testify from prison to Timothy-

I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day- 2Tim 1:12 Don't give up, Stir it UP!

What an amazing blessing to connect with our dear friend Bishop Rosetta Cox in Singita, FIJI. We were to truly blessed to minister with this true hero of ministry. We have served with her at Washington For Jesus, Newport News, and Liberia West Africa She is an amazing woman of God.
Bishop Rosie came from West Africa and pastors a powerful work there in SIngita. She is raising up leaders as they touch the entire community with the gospel.
It was amazing to see so many kids hungry for god and Pastors from a dozen churches joined us. We were blessed to see how God is using her as they change the city and reach the lost.
BLESSED to be with these 2 powerful women of GOD!
Over 36 pastors gathered in Suva to hear more about Teen A Challenge and how we can partner together to reach the lost. Records show over 1,500 prisoners with denominational ties (354 Assembly of God), we advocated for the church to step out with renewed vigor to the lost -in outreach, in ministry and in prayer.

Again I say
unto you,
That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done
for them of
my Father which is in heaven.

There is a crisis evolving in the Phillipines. There are reports of over 2,500 extra-judicial killings by the police and vigilante death squads, (and fast increasing) in a desire to rid the Philippine society of drug addicts and dealers. There seems to be no emphasis nor interest from the highest office to giving them a court trial much less in rehabilitating them.

Christian leaders have been contacted by the DILG (Dept of Interior and Local Government) which, as of date, has been inundated by 800,000 addicts turning themselves in for the fear of being killed in this genocidal war on drugs!

In the Philippines, strategic evangelical leaders have been invited to work together with the government and they have requested our assistance to help them to develop an advisory committee. The situation is both massive and extremely urgent. Only a united, expeditious efforts can address this crisis effectively! Young people trapped in drug problems are being wasted by these senseless killings- the blood of many innocents defiling the land (Ps 106:38)!

Please pray for us as we have wrapped up our mission to Fiji and the team members from Western and American Samoa who did a great job, are home

Pray for Hemraj Mangal and Seth Greenwell, pioneers of FIJI Teen Challenge - we are believing God to establish this emerging ministry in FIJI and move miraculously. PRAY WITH US! Please remember them in prayers and pray specifically against the scourge of grog.

Also known as kava, or simply "grog," Yaquon, is a staple beverage of the cultural Fiji experience. Known to cause inebriation and in some cases hallucination it is highly addictive and has a significant impact on the society. Open market spaces around the bus terminals and street corners are now peppered with Kava stands. It is estimated that over $750,000 Fijian dollars per day are spent on, Kava. Bureau of statistics population census estimates that there are 400,000 Fijian in the age bracket 20 to 64 and at least a quarter of a million of them consume Kava on a daily basis. Made from the powdered root of the piper methysticum the sound of this root being pulverized in metal bowls, creates a ringing sound which can resonate deep into the night laughingly called by many “kava bells.” That is unless you’re trying to sleep. Pray for freedom!

Please pray for Rev Bill Kirk assistant superintendent of the New York District Council of the Assemblies of God, whose amazing wife, Laura has gone home to be with the Lord She was recovering from very delicate brain surgery. Though it appeared the brain tumor surgery went well and she was on the road to recovery she has gone home to be with the Lord. This dynamic couple is very missed here at Camp Champion and our heart break for her family's pain and loss though we know she rejoices int he presence of the King of Kings.

Pray with us for the global advance of the gospel. Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 115 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in over 32 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.
MATTHEW 9: 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

We do not receive salary or travel expense from Global Teen Challenge. Your gift is so important during the summer season when income is down for us. We have had a challenging travel schedule with opportunities in Africa and Fiji. Your gifts help us to make it possible for leaders to join us in outreach as we share the GREAT NEWS of God's love and saving power.
