Coinciding with the Chestnut Square Farmers Market, this race showcases the charm of McKinney, including its shady historic district streets. Participants will be greeted at the finish line with cool towels and refreshments, and the sponsor village will be packed with goodies including live music, food and beer. Participants can stroll through the Farmers Market at the conclusion of the race. 314 S. Chestnut. Fun run starts at 7:45, 5K walk/run starts at 8:15 p.m. Online registration open until Thursday, July 30.

Need a girls night out or just to de-stress? Bottle & Bottega Plano and TUPPS Brewery hosts a night of painting pint glasses and drinking beer! This is the first in a series of four beer glass painting levels – from pint glass to large beer mug. Each glass painting is a Tupp’s theme. Mix and Mingle at 6:30 p.m., then painting from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $35 and include all paint supplies, instruction, use of aprons and 2 pint glasses! At Tupps Brewery, 721 Anderson St. on the southeast corner of the Cotton Mill property.
