Plant a Tree Day - Bob White Trees Need Your Help!

In celebration of “Plant a Tree Day,” sponsored by the One Tree Planted organization, several trees will be planted to replace some that didn’t survive the summer. Volunteers will also be providing basic maintenance for other young trees that are working to reforest the hillside. Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard

Are you or someone you know food insufficient? The Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard invites anyone who lives within the bounds of the Upper Merion Area School District to shop two times each month. The UMACC is located in the Valley Forge Presbyterian building (191 Town Center Road, KOP). There is a *REQUEST* Rambler stop nearby at the Valley Forge Shopping Center. If you'd like to be picked up or dropped off at that location, please call 610-354-8899. Yard Waste Collection

Now through October 26

The yard waste collection season will run through Friday, October 26, 2018. Pickup days will vary each week depending on workload and weather. We will make every effort to collect yard waste the same week the request is submitted. Fill out a request for service online or call the Public Works Department at 610-265-8465 before 12:00PM on the Tuesday of the week you wish to have your yard waste picked up. Please follow the collection guidelines.

Neighborhood Meals on Wheels

We are in great need of volunteers on a weekly, monthly or substitute basis in the King of Prussia area. If you would like to help, we would be happy to have you join us to see if this is a volunteer opportunity you would enjoy. We have volunteers that deliver meals weekly, monthly and on a substitute basis. Parent/Child Workshop

September 28 through October 19 | 10:00 to 11:15AM

Children ages 1-3 and their parents/caregivers are invited to attend this play-focused workshop series. Child development specialists will be available to answer questions about early literacy, sleep, music and play, language, and more. Registration is for the full, four-week session.

AARP Driver Safety Course

Take this 4-hour refresher driver safety course (you must have completed the 8-hour course prior to this refresher). Class begins promptly at 9:30AM.
