FOR HEALTHY, SUSTAINABLE FOOD, YOU NEEDN'T GO MUCH
FURTHER THAN YOUR COMMUNITY OR YOUR OWN BACKYARD

Dear --FNAME--,

'Tis the season to enjoy local food! Gardens are overflowing, farm stands and markets have a great variety of all kinds of fresh, local food for everyone to enjoy.

We are excited to bring you our Local Food Map it in our Buy It section (and soon to be interactive on our website) to show you how local food is all around and where you can, well, Buy It!

We also have included tips and links to some videos produced by Ellen Best and Doug DeCandia in our August Grow It article on "chop and drop" weeding now and planning for inter-cropping next year.

Our Cook It Recipe this month features delicious corn, goat cheese, and pepper pizza!

Finally, in our Share It section you can find out where to take your excess produce so that it goes to people who otherwise don't have access to such fresh and healthy food.

As always, you will also find some local food events listed below.

Remember to like Bedford 2020 on Facebook and  Forward to a Friend VegOut to anyone who cares about local food or our environment, and if someone forwarded this to you and you're not already signed up, click here.

Your friends at Bedford 2020 and VEGOUT!
