14th Annual Krewe of Barkus (Sunday)
Patterned after the Mystic Krewe of Barkus in New Orleans, which was established to help abused and abandoned canines, Krewe of Barkus will feature a parade, vendor booths, interactive activities and more. This year's theme is "Barkus Does Books – A Salute To Your Favorite Characters In Literature." The expo of pet friendly businesses and family fun starts at Mitchell Park (one block west of the downtown square) at 12:30 p.m. Parade starts at 2 p.m. around the downtown square. Free admission and free parking.

Bach & Beer (Thursday): Discover the connections between the art of brewing and the art of playing the music of Bach by sipping on brews while listening to cellist Steuart Pincombe. The concert is part of a project called Music in Familiar Spaces, a year-long tour of the US bringing the highest level of classical music performance to homes, churches, cafés, bars, or any place where community already exists.This concert is being presented in collaboration with the Music & Arts at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. 7-9 p.m. Name your own ticket price for admission.

TUPPS Super Bowl Tailgate (Sunday): Tailgate with TUPPS for Super Bowl 50! They'll have a 168-inch projector and four large TVs playing the game. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the game starts at 5:30 p.m. Ten beers available on tap; $5 per beer. And plenty of food from Butcher & Barley will be available. 4:30-9 p.m. No entry fee.

(Open thru Feb. 21) Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and eight new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the Heard Museum nature trails. Included in admission to the museum. (If the temperature is 45 degree or colder, the dinos cannot be turned on to make sound and movements.)
