Miller Ferry asks that Military Personnel and Veterans identify themselves at the ticket booth to obtain free passenger ferry passage. It's that time of year when the island businesses are stocking up, finishing their last minute renovations & opening their doors for the 2016 season. Miller Ferry has compiled a list of the businesses that are currently open that we update every Friday.

Perry's Monument & Visitor's Center Opens May 21, 2016
Friday, June 3 at 7:00pm
Congratulations to our Put-in-Bay school senior class ~ Meredith Engel, Jessica Krueger, Ian Pippert-Ladd and Zachary Bittner.

Fun Facts: Put-in-Bay School is home to 79 students (2015-2016) with sixteen full time and three part time teachers. Students from Middle Bass Island and North Bass Island commute via motorboat or plane daily to Put-in-Bay for classes.

Put-in-Bay Talk Radio on WPIB and WPCR ~
Bay Talk is an insider’s look at Put-in-Bay, hosted by island native Caitlin Market. She will provide listeners with an inside look on what your favorite island is all about. Details about upcoming events, island facts, and deals for island getaways will be aired weekly to give listeners the real feel of island living. 

Caitlin Market is a born and raised fifth generation “Island Girl” who graduated from Put-in-Bay High School class of 2010. After graduating, Caitlin studied education and business at Bowling Green State University for four years, coming back to the island every summer to work. For the past two years, Caitlin has been teaching Special Education west of Cleveland, but has decided to come back home to her island roots and work at her family business, the Miller Boat Line. 

Bay Talk airs on WPIB and WPCR every Friday at 10:00 am through October.
