at the Greenlight Award Finals

Join us at this fun and inspiring event! Six teams from John Jay, Fox Lane and Harvey were selected as finalists in January and offered funding to carry out their ideas. They present the results of their projects at the Finals before a community-wide audience where judges ask tough questions and choose the Greenlight Award winner.

Prize: $500 and an engraved Greenlight Award trophy for the winning team. $500 grant for their faculty advisor.

Project CREATE (Composting for Renewed Environmental Action and Total Education), Will Palmieri, Annika Carlson, & JJHS Sustainability Club

This year we will have a keynote speaker, Debra Castellano, comedy writer, performer and blogger, who will talk with students about changing the world - or at least putting a dent in it!
