![]() Upcoming Highlands Events: This spring we have a variety of events and conferences coming up for you to learn and engage with environmental issues in the Highlands, get out and explore the sights and tastes of the Hackettstown area, or show off your skills at our annual golf outing. ![]() ![]() The first Northwest New Jersey Rivers Conference invites anyone and everyone who cares about clean water, the Delaware River and the Delaware Watershed region to come to Centenary University March 30th. Partners in the DRWI initiative will be hosting workshops for participants to learn how we can best work to protect its resources: conserve, restore, protect, educate, inform and bring communities together to defend and share this important resource. ![]() ![]() This conference is free and open to the public!

![]() ![]() Digital Arts Workshop: How to shoot like a professional May 23, 9AM - 3PM Willowwood Arboretum
Acclaimed photographer Dwight Hiscano will lead a short walk at the Willowwood Arboretum and discuss what makes a photograph a work of art. Participants will be encouraged to find creativity in the natural elements, and manipulate the camera to evoke drama, surprise, or irony, as the basis of an artistic statement.

![]() Highlands Golf Outing May 16th, Tee off at 10AM
Join us at Hawk Pointe Golf course for a one of a kind Highlands event. Hawk Pointe offers a 72-par golf course with 18 holes of distinct character including natural areas, wetlands, dense woods, historical markers and glimpses of an abundant wildlife population.
Concurrently we will be running our Media Workshop with professionals in photography and videography in the Clubhouse.
