Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Worship with us this Sunday!
Tell your friends!  Just one service! At 10 o'clock!
Every church is - among other things - a kind of schoolhouse, a place where we move together through an annual curriculum of learning and contemplation. This week, the mystery of the Trinity takes center stage.  What's the Trinity?  Join us at 10 o'clock as Pastor Clark rolls out the white board for his monthly Chalk Talk and helps us dive deeper into this mystery together!
Sunday's Message:  Out of your head and into your heart.
Sunday's Scriptures: Romans 8:12-17 and John 3:1-17
Sunday's Announcements:  Read them here!
Sunday's Music:  Click here for a playlist of songs for the services.
Did you miss last Sunday's Message?  Hear it here! (Scroll to the bottom of the page.)
Be the rainbow after the storm! Help create 10 cleaning kits for UMCOR disaster relief.  Pick an item or two from the display in the lobby and add them to your shopping list.  Return your items by June 3. We'll take the kits to a collection site at Annual Conference and they will be sent to disaster victims this summer!  Interested in making one whole kit?  Here's the instructions!
We Have T-Shirts!   Help celebrate our bike ministry in style - wear a BUMC Bike Ministry t-shirt! They'll be on sale Sunday morning, and are also available to purchase during office hours.  Shirts are $20, and any additional dollars you might be willing to donate will be put toward fixing more bikes for those in need.

Wear your t-shirt to the Parade!  Will you ride your bike or walk along with us in The Brecksville Memorial Parade Monday morning to help tell the community about our bike ministry? We’ll gather around 8:45 am at stop #56 along Route 21. Walkers and riders can pick up a t-shirt for only $10!  See Jenny in the lobby on Sunday after service!

The word liturgy comes from the Greek meaning “work of the people”.   Are you feeling the call to become more involved in worship and the work of the people? As a liturgist, you will lead the Call to Worship, and read the first scripture, the offertory invitation and the offertory prayer.  These readings are prepared for you by Pastor Clark and sent to you early in the week before you serve.  Everyone is encouraged to participate! If you have concerns about pronunciations, Pastor Clark is happy to help. Summer worship times begin June 3, with services at 8:30 and 10 am.

Ushers are needed for 10:00 service on June 3, 17 and 24.  Liturgists needed for both services on June 24.

We celebrate our human family’s diversity of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, faith history, economic status, marital status, physical and mental ability, and education. We affirm that all people are created in the image of God and as beloved children of God, all are worthy of God’s love and grace. We welcome the full inclusion of all people in the life and ministries of Brecksville United Methodist Church as we journey toward reconciliation through Christ.
