Scampers Staff Safety Training Day - March 12

Note: This is not a mandatory event, and the time spent with us is not paid; however, there is significant value in all elements of the training you'll be taking away with you. And we'll be making it fun, and serving food!

Dear --FNAME--

As a continuation of our Staff Training, as recommended by several of you following the August and November events, we are very pleased to announce that Scampers is holding another training day on Saturday, March 12th.

This one will include a seminar on Animal Behavior, for our staff; as well as a seminar on Disaster Preparedness, which will be presented for our clients as well as for our staff.

Both seminars are presented by Elise Poston.

About Elise Poston

Former Scampers Wrangler Elise Poston, shown here in her best Farmer look, will present a seminar on animal behavior to assist us in our understanding of the pooches in our care, how best to handle them, and how to interpret their behavior and body language.

CERT Disaster Preparedness Seminar for
Scampers Staff and Clients

While she is in the building, we're again taking advantage of Elise's specialized training in Kirkland's Community Emergency Response program to present a repeat of last year's CERT training for the benefit of those clients who have expressed interest.

Staff who were able to attend the autumn events will remember that Elise provided us with valuable and potential life-saving information about what to do and where to go in the case of an earthquake, flood, or other such emergency.

Any and all staff are welcome to attend that event as well.

This presentation is scheduled to run 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
