Pennsylvania Sales Tax Certificates

Some congregation leaders are asking about the status of the Pennsylvania Sales Tax Certificates that are expiring at the end of this month. The synod submitted the necessary renewal paperwork to PA Department of Revenue, Bureau of Registration & Taxpayer Management, in October and on January 13 forwarded to them a “Parent Church” spreadsheet listing all of our ministries. The Bureau of Registration & Taxpayer Management is working to get new certificates issued before the current ones expire. The synod has not heard whether or how the current COVID-19 pandemic may be affecting their ability to do so.
